Have A Puppy? Think Well Before Choosing These Dogs

2. Pekingese

This breed is legendary for its stubbornness. Pekingese were bred as companion dogs by the imperial families of ancient China. Some Pekingese were official royal dogs. These dogs hold a royal bloodline with a haughty attitude and a strong personality that commands respect. Pekingese are very difficult to train because they think they should be in charge and are stubborn in their approach to the task. If trained too harshly, they may bite. Well-socialized Pekingese are very affectionate with their owners and family, but treat strangers as intruders. This makes them excellent guard dogs. They are very brave, considering their size. They will fight off strangers to the death if they perceive them as a threat.
