This makes sense when you consider that we are the closest relatives to chimpanzees, with a DNA similarity of 98.5. You don't have to be a scientist to see that our facial structures are similar; chimpanzees are only a small evolutionary step away from humans. Beyond these visual comparisons, chimpanzees' behavior is also incredibly similar to human behavior. Chimpanzees are playful, they laugh when they're amused, and they love hugs as a sign of affection. We would give anything to have a chance to hold this little chimp in our arms!
