Designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry and Croatian-Czech architect Vlado Milnić, the Dancing House is located on the banks of the Vlatava River in Prague's historic centre. The original concept was for a two-part structure to represent the transition from communism to parliamentary democracy. It was made up of two parts, with a glass tower representing Ginger supported by curved columns and a rock structure symbolising Fred. This second rock structure runs parallel to the river and features 99 irregularly shaped and undulating window panels.
