Elephants are a recurring motif in Thai culture. You can find their importance all across the country. Bangkok's Elephant Building serves as a symbol of reverence for elephants. Completed in 1997, the Elephant Building is also known as the Chang Building. Three towers make up the "elephant," with two representing the legs and the third the trunk. The towers have 32 floors and an overall height of 335 feet.
